DivMoms.com was created — not surprisingly — by a divorced mom.
That would be me, Nancy, the mother of four fantabulous humans. I’ve been doing the solo parenting thing for more than 10 years, and have learned a lot over that time.
With the help of other divorced moms (several of whom choose to remain anonymous for their own privacy and safety), I made this site to help make life on this side of the custody agreement a little easier.
We’re just getting going, but we plan to cover a lot of different topics — from organizing your finances to figuring out what to make for dinner, and dealing with exes to having new relationships.
Most of the content is aimed at the somewhat recently divorced mom who is still adjusting to her new circumstances and new challenges, but nearly everything will have value to people outside that group, too.
In fact, you don’t even have to be divorced to make use of the information here. This site is not an elite club — it’s intended to be a helpful resource and community, and all are welcome, no matter if you’ve never been married, are widowed, just got divorced, split up 30 years ago, something in between… or are just wondering what color the grass is over here.
Thanks for visiting. š
